Domestic cleaning is a regular clean of your home — usually weekly or fortnightly — covering the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces, so the house stays clean without you having to do it. It is Bright & Tidy Ltd's most-booked service across Liverpool, the Wirral and Merseyside.
Rather than working to a fixed template, we build each clean around your routine. You tell us which rooms matter most, how often you want us and anything you'd rather we left alone, and that becomes the plan for every visit.
The same team comes back each time, ideally on the same day and at the same time. They get to know your home, your preferences and your pets, and they get quicker and more thorough as they do.
You get a fixed price per visit, in writing, before we start. Every cleaner is background-checked, reference-verified and insured, and we use pet-friendly products in every home. Call or WhatsApp 07404 936138 or email info@brightandtidy.co.uk.

Need the oven, the inside of the fridge or behind the appliances done? Those are part of a deep clean — many customers start with one, then keep the house at that standard with regular visits.
Weekly, fortnightly or one-off?
There's no right answer — it depends on how busy your home is and how much you want to do yourself in between. As a rough guide:
| Weekly | Fortnightly | One-off | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Suits | Families, pet owners, busy households | Couples, smaller homes, tidy households | Before guests, after a busy spell, a trial visit |
| Between visits | Very little to do yourself | Light tidying, the odd wipe-down | — |
| Same team | Yes | Yes | — |
| Cost per visit | Lowest | Low | Highest |
Regular visits cost less each time than one-off cleans because there's less to do once a home is being kept on top of. A one-off on a house that hasn't been cleaned for a while takes much longer — which is why we often suggest a deep clean first, then weekly or fortnightly visits after that.
Built around your home
Every regular clean starts with a conversation. Tell us which rooms you want the most time spent on, anything that's off-limits — a home office, a child's room, a collection that shouldn't be touched — and any products to avoid because of allergies, young children or a pet with a sensitivity. We write that into the plan so whoever comes always knows.
The same faces every time
Booking the same day and time each week or fortnight keeps the same team on your home. That matters more than it sounds: they learn where things go, how you like the beds and cushions left, which floor needs what, and how to give a nervous dog its space. Every one of them is background-checked, reference-verified and insured.
Fitting around work
We clean Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm, with Sundays available on request. That means early-evening and Saturday slots for people who'd rather be home when we're there, and daytime slots for people who'd rather not be.
"Absolutely brilliant service! My flat has never looked this clean. Would highly recommend Bright & Tidy to anyone in the area."

Domestic cleaning — your questions answered
If your question isn't here, call or WhatsApp us on 07404 936138.
How much does a regular cleaner cost in Liverpool or the Wirral?
We price each home individually rather than using a fixed hourly rate. The main factors are the size of your home, how many rooms you'd like covered, how often we visit, and the condition it's in when we start. Weekly and fortnightly customers pay less per visit than one-off bookings, because the work reduces once a home is being kept up. You get a fixed price per visit, in writing, before the first clean. Call or WhatsApp 07404 936138 with your home's size and how often you'd like us for a price, usually the same day.
Should I choose weekly or fortnightly cleaning?
Weekly suits busier homes — families, households with pets, or anyone who wants to do almost nothing in between. Fortnightly works well for couples, smaller homes and people happy to do a little light tidying between visits, and it costs less over a month. If you're not sure, start fortnightly; it's easy to move to weekly if you find you want more.
Will I get the same cleaner each time?
That's the aim. When you book a regular day and time, the same team returns to your home each visit, so they learn your preferences, where things go and how you like rooms left. Keeping the same slot each week or fortnight is the best way to keep the same people.
Can you clean around my pets?
Yes. Pet-friendly products are used as standard in every home, and our team is experienced working around animals — closing doors behind them, keeping equipment and cables out of the way, and giving nervous pets space. If your pet has a particular sensitivity or your vet has asked you to avoid a product, tell us and we'll work around it. The same goes for anyone in the household with allergies or a respiratory condition.
My house needs more than a regular clean — where should I start?
Start with a one-off deep clean. It covers the jobs a regular visit doesn't — inside the oven and fridge, behind appliances, grout, skirting and coving — and brings the whole house up to a good standard. After that, weekly or fortnightly domestic cleaning keeps it there, and each visit takes less time and costs less as a result.
What days and times can you clean?
We clean Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm, and Sunday appointments are available on request. That gives you a choice of daytime slots while you're at work, or early-evening and Saturday slots if you'd prefer to be in. Once we've agreed a regular day and time, we keep it for you.
Are your cleaners vetted and insured?
Yes. Every cleaner is background-checked and reference-verified before they work in anyone's home, and Bright & Tidy Ltd is fully insured for work in private homes. Because a regular cleaner may be in your home while you're out, we think this is the most important thing we can tell you, and it applies to every member of the team without exception.
