Deep clean or end of tenancy clean?

What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
A regular weekly or fortnightly clean keeps a home tidy: surfaces, floors, kitchens and bathrooms. A deep clean goes much further and tackles the areas a regular clean never reaches — behind and underneath appliances, inside the oven and fridge, skirting boards, door frames and coving, tiles, grout and limescale, extractor fans and window frames. Most people need a deep clean only occasionally, then a regular clean keeps the home at that standard.
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the size of the home and the condition it's in, so a small flat and a large family house take very different amounts of time. A deep clean always takes longer than a regular clean of the same property, because of the extra detail involved. When we quote, we'll tell you roughly how long to expect so you can plan your day around it.
Is oven cleaning included in a deep clean?
Yes. A deep clean includes the inside of the oven, along with the hob and extractor hood, and the inside of the fridge and microwave. We also clean behind and underneath appliances, which is where grease and dust build up unseen. If the oven is the main job, tell us when you ask for your quote so we can allow enough time for it.
Are your cleaning products safe for pets and children?
We use safe, pet-friendly cleaning products as standard on every deep clean, not only when a customer asks. Our team is used to working in homes with pets and keeps doors closed and equipment out of the way while working. If anyone in your household has allergies, a respiratory condition or a sensitivity to a particular product, or your vet has asked you to avoid something, tell us when you book and we'll adjust what we use.
Can I book a regular clean after my deep clean?
Yes, and many customers do. A deep clean brings the home back to a good baseline, and a regular weekly or fortnightly domestic clean keeps it there. Because the same team returns each visit, they learn your home and your preferences. Regular cleans usually cost less per visit than one-off cleans, because there is less to do once a home is being maintained.
